Holly Campbell 


Mrs. Campbell is one of our very own from Gordon ISD and brings years of educational experience, having been the Gordon ISD principal since January of 2013. Mrs. Campbell’s prior experience includes instructional specialist at Granbury ISD, assistant principal at Granbury ISD, principal at Granbury ISD, and ELA teacher and coach at Gordon ISD, Weatherford ISD, and Spanish teacher and coach at Fort Worth Masonic Home. The GISD superintendent completed her superintendent certification from the ESC Region 11 in 2021. She has earned a master's degree in educational administration from Tarleton State University and a bachelor's of arts with a major in English from the University of The Ozarks. Holly and her husband Lyle, are lifelong Gordon community members and have three children, Hudson, Krew, and Jonah.

Director of Student Services

Katie Elrod


Katie Elrod is currently serving as the Director of Student Services for Gordon ISD. She has served Gordon ISD since the start of her career in 2012 education first as a history teacher, and since then has served in various administrative roles in the district, including assistant principal, principal, and now student services.  She has a love for all things Tarleton, purple, and Texan as she earned her Bachelors of Arts in History with a secondary education emphasis, as well a her M. Ed. in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University. Mrs. Elrod is a resident of Gordon as well as her husband, Stephen and two boys, Beck and Emlen, and loves being a part of the great community of Gordon.

Chief Business Officer

Jessica Hendrickson, CTSBO


As the Chief Business Officer for Gordon ISD, I am responsible for overseeing the financial management of the school district. With over 15 years of experience and both a Masters and Bachelors of Business Administration from Tarleton State University, my role is ensuring that our district's financial and human resources are managed efficiently and effectively.

One of my key priorities is ensuring that our school district operates within its budget while still providing high-quality education to our students. I work closely with school administrators, teachers, and staff to identify opportunities for cost savings, while still maintaining the level of educational excellence that our community expects.

In addition, I am committed to transparency and accountability in all aspects of our financial management. I work with our School Board and other stakeholders to ensure that our financial practices are in compliance with all state and federal regulations.

I am proud to be a part of the team that is helping to shape the future of education in our community.
